Community Work & Awards
I want to give Dr. Robert Defatta a Sunshine Award. Dr. Defatta went above and beyond anything I could have expected for my surgery. He treated my husband and I like a family member or friend, not just another patient. Thank you and your office for being so great!
When a family has a child being treated for cancer, it quickly becomes a daily struggle just to hold everything that matters together. For families under such constant stress, Joshua’s Camp is a very special retreat with a life-renewing mission. We offer a safe haven where everyone in the family is given the opportunity to step back, relax and experience a feeling of solid ground. Joshua’s Camp is available to qualifying registered families free of charge.
Dr. Nicole Smith and Pang Lee
I’d like to give a Sunshine Award to Dr. Nicole Smith and her assistant, Pang Lee. They have been nothing but helpful to me in my journey to better hearing. They have been so wonderful to me, as well as my husband! They went beyond what I would expect, but yet they want to help me in my journey and set aside a lot of extra time for me to get myself used to my new hearing aids. I have never experienced such compassion from an audiologist and assistant before and it’s so refreshing! A big thank you to them!!
I have three people I would like to nominate for a Sunshine Award. First of all I would like to nominate Dr. Kristin Wogahn of Eau Claire Medical Clinic for referring me to the ear, nose, and throat specialist who did surgery for me after 20 years of sinus struggles. The two surgeons are also to be nominated. They are doctors Rima and Robert DeFatta. These two surgeons work so well together and they really believe in helping their patients as does Dr. Wogahn. All three of them have been so terriric and caring to me and I am so thankful!!
